Valerie L. Sudduth

Valerie is a retired Navy Chief who proudly served for 24 years, concluding her distinguished career with the 2nd Marine Logistics Group (MLG) at Camp Lejeune. She is married to Nick, also a retired Navy Chief, and together they have built a strong family. Their eldest son continues the proud military tradition as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy, while their younger son, age 14, is thriving at home. Academically, Valerie has always pushed herself to excel. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and is just one class away from completing her Master’s degree in Forensic Science, a testament to her dedication to lifelong learning and professional development. Since transitioning from military service, Valerie has directed her leadership and passion toward the mental health field. She has held impactful positions as a Military/Veteran Liaison, Regional Account Manager, and Director of Business Development. Today, she serves in a dual capacity at Coachella Valley Recovery Center as Project Manager and Business Development professional. In this role, she is leading the creation of the center’s Military, Veterans, and First Responders Program, where her commitment and vision continue to make a meaningful difference.
