The term “oath” is deeply symbolic in our military and first responder communities. It represents duty, honor, and sacrifice. Our facility "Second Oath" embodies renewal, recovery, and a recommitment to oneself, not just to service, but to healing and personal well-being. As Veterans and first responders, we took an oath to serve and protect others, and this second oath represents a new mission. A mission to choose to prioritize mental health, resilience, and recovery to oneself. It honors your first oath while creating space for a new, equally courageous path.
Service members, veterans, first responders and their families are often faced with unique challenges when seeking and receiving treatment. Because of these unique challenges, we have built a program to address these gaps in treatment settings ranging from combat trauma, field trauma, moral injury, sexual trauma, identity loss, grief and loss, shame and guilt and more. We tackle the underlying mental health components while treating the substance use, giving a firm foundation for long term recovery and growth.
MST can affect both men and women, and its impact varies, often leading to psychological, emotional, and physical challenges. Our MST track is a non-linear, private therapeutic model, where we start introducing clients to curriculum and tools used in treating MST, following the VA and DOD’s model and standards of care. This allows individuals joining this program to engage without being singled out, in private individual treatment approaches.
